do I sign up for Easy411?
You can sign
up on our website. It takes less than 2 minutes. You'll
need a credit card and the phone numbers you wish to register
(that is, the numbers of the phones from which you'll be calling
to use the service)
Is there a charge to join or a monthly
minimum?
No. You just pay for the calls
you make - $0.65 per call, or about half what you're probably
paying today from your mobile phone.
Can I cancel anytime?
Sure. You can cancel
your account by visiting our website, and there are no
cancellation fees at any time. Or you can simply stop using
the service if you are not satisfied - we'll keep your account
live '"just in case", and it won't cost you anything.
How long does it take to get started?
About one minute. You can use
the service as soon as you complete the web sign-up procedure.
Can I call you to sign up instead
of using the website?
Not yet, but check back soon -
we hope to have this capability up shortly.

How to use the service
What number do I call for Directory
Assistance?
The toll-free number is 1-877-Easy411 (which is 1-877-327-9411).
Do I need to enter a PIN or account
number when I call?
No. You'll be connected directly
to an operator as long as you call from a number you have
previously registered. Our system automatically identifies
you as a registered user.
How many numbers can I request per
call?
Two. Or you can ask for one "reverse
listing" (you provide the number, and we give you the name
and address of the person at that number).
Can I call from my mobile phone?
Absolutely. Easy411
was designed primarily for mobile phone users who are stuck
without their phone books, and don't want to pay $1.25 to
their mobile phone carrier.
Will it work from my home phone too?
Yes, just list all your phone
numbers when you sign up. You can register as many phone
numbers as you like..
After I receive the information I
need, will you complete my call?
Not yet, but we will introduce this feature
shortly. About 70% of mobile phone users don't insist
on call completion. But for those of you who do, we're integrating
that option into the next release of our service - along with
other enhancements like Easy411 Text, which will send
you a text message with the listing you requested, so you
can store it on your phone.
What if I change phone numbers?
No problem - just visit our website
and update your account

or 555-1212 if I sign up for Easy411?
Yes. But you'll be charged higher
rates, of course.

Easy411 automatically?
We offer instructions on how to program
your phone for one-button dialing (e.g. using the '4' button
to reach Easy411).

Accuracy of our phone listings
How accurate are your phone listings?
Are they the same as the ones I use
on the internet for free?
Free Directory Assistance services available on the internet
are very helpful, but they are not kept up-to-date very frequently
- which is why you'll sometimes have trouble finding newly
listed numbers. At Easy411 we use the same data
as major telecom carriers do, and our listings are updated
every 24 hours.
What if I'm given the wrong number
when I call Easy411?
Log into your account and follow the
instructions for reporting a wrong number. We'll credit your
account within one business day.

Pricing and billing
What will each call cost?
With Easy411, each directory assistance call is only 65¢.
How will I be billed?
Charges will be reflected on your credit card once a month
(or, if your call volume is low, once per quarter). You'll
also have your statement online showing how much you're saving.
Auto-billing and electronic statements save on paper and postage,
which is one of the reasons our rate is so low.
Is there a difference in costs for
local and national listings?
Any U.S. listing, business or personal, is always just 65¢.
We do not provide directory assistance for international calls
Can I see how many calls I'm making
before my credit card is billed?
Yes, you can log into your online
account and see up-to-the minute information showing exactly
how many calls you've made for the current billing period
(or other time periods if you like).

Corporate accounts
This service would be great for my
company as well. Do you offer corporate accounts?
We offer corporate accounts with a number of benefits to help
you manage larger user groups. Our Corporate Portal
provides a company with the ability to register and manage
users directly, without having to go to our website to sign
up each individual user. We offer customized reporting for

Privacy
Will you share my personal information
with telemarketers?
No. Easy411 complies with strict
privacy and trust policies that prevent us from releasing
your information to other parties. We do not sell, rent or
otherwise share your information with anyone for any purpose
unless compelled by law to do so. See our privacy

Will you ever call me to try to sell
other services?
Not without your explicit approval.
We assume most people don't like to be "upsold" or "cross-marketed",
so unless you explicitly ask to have additional offers sent
to you, we won't contact you for marketing purposes.

General questions
Will this affect my long distance
or wireless plans?
No. We are exclusively a directory assistance provider. Our
service will not affect your other calling plans.
